• Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi

    Upon arrival to Hanoi airport, after clearing custom, you will be warmly welcomed by Hanoi Daily Tours expert transfer to hotel, approximately a 45-minute drive from the airport.
    Check into a good hotel.
    The afternoon is at leisure to recover from the long trip.
    Meet the group in the hotel lobby at 6:30 pm to walk to your welcome dinner. Tonight we have scheduled a special menu of Hanoi typical cuisines for your first taste of Hanoi.

    Day 2: Hanoi City Tour

    Breakfast is at the hotel.
    Today features a full day visiting Hanoi’s highlights. Begin with a fascinating initiation into the bustle of modern Vietnam, with a cyclo (rickshaw) tour through the picturesque streets of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Continue with a visit to the famous monument of Emperor Ly Thai To, who made an incredible historic decision to move capital to its location of Hanoi today.
    Visit Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh house and mausoleum, and the One-Pillar Pagoda.
    Visit the Ho Chi Minh Museum and learn about the life and work of the Great Father of the Country.
    We have scheduled a special home hosted lunch at a local Hanoi family. Our host today is an award winning chief who features on local TV show annually by Tet festival to introduce traditional cooking art.
    Continue to the remarkable Museum of Ethnology to examine the crafts, textiles, and traditions of Vietnam’s diverse ethnic groups and hill tribes.
    Visit the ancient Temple of Literature, the seat of Vietnam’s first university. The temple was built in 1070. Touring the temple complex with your tour expert to have a deep understanding of Confucianism and the history. Visit Craft Link a not for profit shop, selling significant handicraft products made by different local ethnic groups.
    Back to the center of Hanoi, enjoy a walk along the legendary Restored Sword Lake.
    Visit the Red Bridge and Ngoc Son temple.
    Late afternoon attend a Water Puppet performance, a northern Vietnamese folk tradition.
    Return to hotel in the late afternoon. You are at leisure. Dinner tonight is on your own arrangement.

    Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay

    Breakfast is at the hotel. After breakfast, You will be picked up by our driver to depart for Halong Bay. Going through the scenic countryside, we get to Halong Bay. The world heritage site Halong Bay is truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic sights. Upon arrival at Halong, you will be welcomed by our local guide on board. Heading out of the town we embark on a chinese junk style for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay.
    This exciting cruise will provide a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands and islets rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. Sea food lunch will be served while cruising through the bay.
    The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches. You then explore the Surprising Sung Sot cave which still reserves much of the amazing original stalactites and stalagmites.
    Later the afternoon, we drop the anchor for swim and enjoy the dinner on board.

    Day 4: Halong Bay – Ho Chi Minh City

    Breakfast is on board.
    Wake up in the morning to the calming sound of the waves crashing on the nearby islands. You enjoy a morning coffee and watch the world going by in the bay. Sitting on the upper deck and enjoy the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the crystal-clear water of the bay. The quiet is almost eerie; we can hear birds singing, cicadas chirping ashore and the gentle lapping of the waves against our boat, the perfect soundtrack to accompany the fresh air and gentle breeze.
    Our Junk starts cruising back while the brunch will be served.
    Check out and arrive at harbor by 12:00 noon, transferred to Noi Bai airport for boarding the afternoon flight to Ho Chi Minh city.
    Meet your guide, transfer to hotel for check in. The rest of the day you are free at leisure.

    Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City – Vung Tau – Ho Chi Minh City

    8.00 AM. Our guide and driver will transfer you to Vung tau (around 150km). Enjoy a city tour of Vung Tau’s highlights. Visit King Bao Dai’s Palace also known as Bach Dinh or White Palace, Niet Ban Tinh Xa Temple (Nirvana Meditation Retreat and Buddha shrine) and Statue of Jesus.
    Bach Dinh (White palace) is a villa on the edge of the large mountain that presents nice views over the Front Beach (Bai Truoc). This building was built by the French for the French Governor of the colonial days, and since then has been passed on to various nobles and government officials (both foreign and domestic) including the last emperor of Vietnam, King Bao Dai.
    A giant, 100 foot tall statue of Jesus was constructed above the back beach on a lower slope of Small Mountain in the mid 1970s.
    At leisure on the beach, and enjoy a seafood lunch at a popular local eatery.
    3:00 pm, board a hydrofoil trip back to Saigon city.

    Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta Tour full day

    The Mekong Delta is a unique region where life on the water has remained unchanged for centuries. Life on the delta revolves around the Mekong River, with its green expanses of paddy fields, thick orchards, and canals. Mekong River Delta is often referred to as a major granary of Vietnam where three rice harvests are produced per year. The fertile Mekong River Delta is also famous for its tropical fruits and flowers. The Delta area in the south of Vietnam marks the end of a 4,500km journey made by the Mekong River after having traveled through six countries. Boating along a vast network of canals and channels is the traditional way of local people here. My Tho is known as a launching pad for boat tours.
    Escape from the high-rise hotels, shopping malls and chic restaurants of Ho Chi Minh City, we drive to My Tho with paddy fields, thick orchards and canals. Upon arriving, we get on our private boat, which shall start off by driving us to Turtle island, a beautiful island with many orchards.
    Here we can enjoy a variety of tropical fruits while listening to traditional South Vietnamese folk songs performed by local artists. Then, we are going on a short horse cart ride to a Bee Farm, where we can play with the pythons, try some honey tea, and taste local confectionery. After that, we will have a short rowing boat ride to our main boat, which in turn will take us to Phoenix island that was the lonely bastion of Coconut Monk. We have lunch here before go back to the harbor. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh.

    Day 7: Ho Chi Minh City departure

    Free at leisure until time to meet our guide and driver to transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for boarding your onward flight back to home.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City – Vung Tau – Ho Chi Minh City
Visit Vung Tau’s highlight sightseeings and beautiful beach of the South Vietnam.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta
Boating along a vast network of canals and channels of Mekong delta and enjoy floating markets as well as experience local people life.

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh City Departure
Departing Saigon for your onward flight.
